Electronics Application Engineer
About the role
If your passion is high-frequency electronics simulation, join a great team in Craiova and help customers solve complex engineering problems using cutting edge electronics simulation solutions
Tasks & responsibilities
- Working closely with customers and internal teams in a consultative and supportive technical role
- Research problems and find solutions to a wide variety of electronics problems including, but not limited to:
– Electromagnetic interference and compatibility
– Power and signal integrity analysis
– WLAN, RF, Bluetooth, radio and radar applications - Collaborate with a positive and dynamic team of engineers committed to solving challenging engineering problems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Engineering with background of Electronics/Electro mechanics
- 2 years of industrial experience in an engineering environment
- Experience with ANSYS or other commercial software (can be obtained or partially obtained in a university setting)
- Problem solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems
- Ability to work independently, as well as team player spirit
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with customers
- Very good level of English (verbal & written)
- Experience in the use of CAD and FEA/CFD software (is a plus)
- Available for occasional travel (about 20%); driving license category B
