D3OM-Wind project aims:
- To provide knowledge transfer and capacity building to Seequest, 4Multiphysics and the SME community at large in the areas of offshore wind, advanced design methods, signal processing and condition monitoring
- To provide knowledge transfer and capacity building to Norway (UiS and SAL) in terms of generator design and simulation and renewable business opportunities in Romania
- To conduct a feasibility study – Data-driven design, optimization and condition monitoring of next-generation wind turbine generators
Work plan:
- Phase 1: Knowledge transfer and capacity building (3 months)
– Courses within the identified topics (two way between Norway and Romania); open to the SME business associations in Norway and Romania
– Knowledge transfer and capacity building (two way between Norway and Romania) with more in-depth interactions at Seequest within the identified topics
- Phase 2: Feasibility study and plan for future work (3 months)
– Technical feasibility study
– Industrial demand analysis, business development and commercialization strategy
